Grace

‘Grace?! Grace died over 30 years ago?!’

‘The blessing, they want you to say the blessing!’

‘I pledge allegiance to the flag…’

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation

I was once told that I am hard on myself. Okay, I have been told that a bunch of times.

Well, today I’m gonna give myself some grace.

It turns out that saying goodbye to your therapist is a pretty big deal.

Who am I kidding?

It had knocked me sideways and upside down.

Therefore, I missed writing two days.

Instead of pushing myself to catch up, I’m going to count this blog as 9 and 10 out of 30.

It is incredibly challenging for me to be okay with this.

According to Merriam Webster grace can mean a disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency

I am grateful for this chance to write for thirty days. And I am thankful to use this experience as a chance to extend myself some kindness.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

❤️ Emily
